The new Virtual Reality Film is a very special addition to the Bedford Boys Tribute Center. BBTC in Bedford VA and the Omaha Beach World War II Museum in Normandy France are the only two places in the world where this virtual reality film is available for viewing.
Only 12 minutes long, it tells you the story of Operation Neptune, the Invasion on Omaha Beach Dog Green Sector by our Bedford Boys and the many troops that landed on that fateful day plus the massive operation to bring in the equipment and supplies needed to support our troops.
Stop by to see us Monday-Friday from 9 am until 5 pm and on Sunday from 12 Noon to 5 pm to take a tour of our museum and watch this amazing film.
ANNIVERSAY ANNOUCMENT
Today, June 1, 2026, the Bedford Boys Tribute Center celebrates the 7th Anniversary of the day we opened the doors to our center.
Since this day, we have had over 22,000 visitors from across all 50 states and 34 countries worldwide and is ranked #1 of the Best Things To Do in Bedford by Tripadvisor.
In appreciation of the Bedford community, admission is free to all Town of Bedford and Bedford County Residents and the family members of our Bedford Boys.
To the families of our beloved Bedford Boys, know that from your Uncle’s graves they teach us that Freedom Is Not Free. Rest assured, the educational goal at the Tribute Center is to make known their legacies so that they will never be forgotten.
We humbly thank you for their sacrifice, your service and dedication in their memory and keeping this invaluable history alive for generations to come.
In their service,
Ken and Linda Parker
